This year’s Trunk or Treat event is set to be a significant occasion during the fall season for both locals and visitors. It presents an alternative to the traditional house-to-house candy collection, offering a more shared experience. Picture a lively plaza where decorated vehicles serve as points for Halloween treats. It’s an excellent chance for neighbors to interact, children to display their costumes, and everyone to happily appreciate the autumn weather.

The City of Sammamish is putting considerable effort into this year’s Trunk or Treat, transforming City Hall Plaza into a Halloween setting. The event will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The location is City Hall Plaza, at 801 228th Ave SE, Sammamish, WA 98075. Admission is free, making it an accessible and pleasant event for all families in the Sammamish area.

In addition to the main trunk-or-treating activity, a variety of other attractions are planned to keep everyone engaged. You can take memorable photos at the Fall Photo Booth, engage in creative activities at a craft station organized by the KC Library, and enjoy the energetic atmosphere with music and games. Additionally, enjoy warm kettle corn and apple cider while socializing with friends and neighbors.

Accessing the event is simple. Parking is available at the City Hall Plaza and the adjacent Upper Commons. For additional parking, overflow options can be found at Mary Queen of Peace. This arrangement ensures that many families can easily reach the event and participate in the festivities without difficulty finding parking.

For a more convenient and environmentally conscious travel option, consider using the Metro Flex on-demand transportation service. This service operates within its designated area, and rides can be booked through the “Metro Flex” app or by calling (206) 258-7739. This method helps reduce traffic and parking issues, making your trip to the Trunk or Treat smooth. Booking your ride ahead of time is recommended!
